Very nice park with mountain views in all directions, most sites with a view of the lake. There's a good hiking trail within the park and you can walk across the damn as well. Location convenient for day trips to Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Los Alamos, and Taos. Bathhouse could use updating. Very friendly, helpful camp host.

So beautiful and peaceful. We had a medical emergency with my kiddo and the ambulance was there quick and they were amazing with him. Got him patched up so we could continue camping. Was an awesome weekend. Definitely bring something for the bugs at night though! The Mosquitoes reminded me of the south!

I love the Buffalo Grove section of this campground - the shelters at each site are beautiful and the picnic tables are concrete which means no worries when setting up your cook stove. There is water and electric at each site, the bathrooms are clean, the sites are large and level, the camp hosts are really nice, and the views are beautiful.

Buffalo Grove sites are so well laid out - Plenty of space, easy (and sometimes none) leveling.
