Beautiful area, lots of room for kids to run around and easy parking. Well kept, lots of room for a large group.

We love staying at camp 1 EXCEPT there are trails that actually lead right up to the pavilion - we have been having a meal and a bike will come within one foot of us, same experience has happened with hikers. Would like to see the forest service somehow erase these footpaths, which have not been created by the forest service but because of the heavy foot and bike traffic look as if they are actual hiking trails.
