What Guests Are Saying
Black Canyon Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and beautiful surroundings, making it a favored spot for campers. The spacious sites, friendly camp hosts, and proximity to hiking trails and Santa Fe enhance the overall experience. However, the lack of water has been a consistent issue, and some visitors have reported problems with caterpillar infestations and site accessibility.

Very nice campsite 7 miles from downtown Santa Fe. Great hiking trail adjacent. Generally very quiet and well laid-out with a good variety of sites for RVs and tent camping.

Beautiful area! Spaces are spread out a bit, you don't feel like your neighbors are touching you. Green trees, levelish sites@.

Great campsite and hiking nearby. The bathrooms were some of the grosser ones we've experienced. The host had a dog that barked a lot and generators were being turned on really early. Other than that great place to stay!

Nice campsites, not too close together. Great being so close to town while also completely away from it all, not even a cell signal. Nice short hike loop at the back of the campground. No water this year, so make sure you bring your own.
