Campground was nice. Well maintained. Sites were level and spaced so that you had some privacy and were not right on top of your neighbor. We had an issue that someone was in our site when we arrived. The ranger station was closed but the camp host was available and quickly responded and resolved the situation. The only issue was that the delay resulted in us having to set up in the dark.

I really love deep creek. Only the clampers are taking over. Entirely too many generator from dawn to dark.

Most accessible of the GSMNP campgrounds I've visited and the least I've liked. It's good for kids and families but crowded with three rows of tents between the creek and parking area, so you're frequently walking very near someone else's campsite. It's close to Bryson City and vendors are also located just outside the park entrance. Site numbering is not intuitive; Site 31 in the final section next to the small stream running into Deep Creek, behind 36 and next to 35.

Well run campground, bathrooms very clean and stocked. Very helpful hosts and check in. Love the hiking to the waterfalls. And being close to Bryson City is a plus. We will be back

Well maintained NPS location. Creek close by with walking trails and waterfalls. Bryson City is close by with shopping. The railroad and museum must be seen. The campground host made frequent rounds and is very helpful.
