Beautiful, small campground set in the NC mountains and right next to a beautiful creek. No frills camping- there is a restroom. Nice picnic area for daytime visitors. Hiking trails nearby. Be bear aware. Creek is great for swimming, wading, fishing.

We stayed here last summer and loved it so much that we went out of our way to camp here again. The campground has such a cozy, family-friendly feel, with a big field for kids to play in and the river right across the road for splashing around or trout fishing. It's cool and comfortable at the campground (even in the summer!), the restrooms are clean, and the grounds are well-maintained. Kim and Ronny are so kind and welcoming and are some of the hardest working hosts we have ever met! They make the campground feel like home, and our family always feels cared for because of the special way they run this place. One of our favorite places to camp!

I got there Sunday around 11. I thought i was at bike week in Daytona. The road ran next to the campground. The swimming hole that is pictured had probably 40 people in the water and on the banks. First time at this campground. Looked good in pictures. After it started getting dark everyone left. I built a fire, some people from a couple other campsites came down. Really a nice campground when no one's there. Right next to a river. Great trout fishing.

This is a very well cared for campground. Place is so scenic and clean.
A very nice couple is entrusted with the caretaking apparently.
I was with a motorcycle group and we had a fantastic time.
Running water in the clean toilets, lights in the toilet area and zero litter make this a perfect spot for motocamping
