We loved this campground- spaces weren’t on top of one another & bathrooms/showers were clean. Wooded sites can be a bit buggy so remember your citronella candles & bug spray! Loved walking the boardwalk trail right down from the campground- hoping to return next spring!

We stayed in site #20. It is the only pull-thru and is quite private and large. It is an electric only site. Friendly camp host. Roads are easy to navigate. Streaming with AT&T can be a bit sluggish but watchable. About an hour from Cape Lookout National Seashore. Plenty of breweries in the area. Convenient to shopping.

Great site in a great area. Was quiet while we were there but only 50% full. Easy access to potable water you could use to fill your camper as you arrive as there are no water hookups at the site. Also had access to water throughout the campground but was not marked potable.

good base for kayaking trips in the area. Options for activities if water conditions are not good (aquarium, museum, hike, bike).

Lovely campground, very well kept. Sites are well spaced out offering a good bit of privacy.
Hosts were friendly and helpful. We've been here before and will certainly return again.
