Cedar Point Campground is praised for its clean facilities, spacious sites, and friendly hosts, making it a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay. Cedar Point Campground has clean campsites and bath facilities. The area provides shade and privacy. It is quiet and pleasant. We enjoyed our two week stay very much.

Nice little campground just a couple miles from Emerald Isle Beach. Sites are roomy, shady, and well maintained. We had pull-through site 20 which is described in Rec.gov as sharing a picnic table with site 19 but it does not. Sites are electric only but there are water spigots at several points along the CG loop as well as a fill at the dump station. Camp Host Robbie was very friendly and helpful and aware of all activity within the CG. Restrooms are clean. If our travels take us back to the coast of NC we will certainly stay here again.

Shower and bathroom are very clean and good.
Good fishing place near camping ground.
Although shade and trees are not enough, tent sites are wide and very clean.

Campground was kept very clean. Saw camp host ride bike around checking everything multiple times a day. Bathhouse was functional and showers were hot. Short walk to hiking trail that was well kept.

Our visit to Cedar Point is always good. We enjoyed walking and kayaking and just visiting with family.
As far as the area, I would say you should definitely check out Gaffers Restaurant on Emerald Isle. The food was awesome.

This campground was very pretty, well-kept and the sites were spacious. It was one of the quietest campgrounds we have been to despite the fact that the campground was full! My only critique would be that the bathrooms could’ve been cleaner…I have seen much worse and only used the bathroom once while out for a walk. Will definitely go back again!
