I would have rated this as Excellent... giving that park a 9 out of 10 rating... except for the water in the ladies bathroom sinks... both hot & cold were hot... i have 4 year old with sensitive skin. it was difficult to get her to rinse her hands!
otherwise... this was the most beautiful camping spot we have ever been to. roomy, lots of privacy... just fix that water!

This was the first visit to this campground. I was very impressed with the layout, spaciousness, and neatness. The boat access was ideal. It was quiet and convenient to the places I wanted to visit. I did not realize there were no site water hooks up, but that was not a problem at all.
Definitely plan to visit and stay there again.

This is a beautiful, quiet and serene park with mostly shaded sites. It is very close to the beach, grocery and shopping facilities yet you would never know it. It also offers direct access to a quite back water cove complete with shallow water boat launch and its own Osprey nest.

The campground is great! However there was not a host anywhere to be found or to answer anyone to answer questions when calling on the phone.

We love this campground, just wish they had at least electric/water sites and the bath houses would get updated..

The campground is very nice and very well kept, the bathrooms are clean. Unfortunately, the near-by road (highway 58) is very noisy at night, which is a bit of a problem for tent campers but not so much for RVs.. it is conveniently located, not too far a driving distance to the beach and close to amenities and there is a very hiking trail over the swamp near-by…there is not much privacy between sites, which is something I also normally appreciate.
