Cedar Point Campground is praised for its clean facilities, spacious sites, and friendly hosts, making it a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay. Guests appreciate its proximity to beaches, nature trails, and various attractions, enhancing their overall experience. Clean wonderful park...that being said, I do believe the website should at least mention that the bathhouse is not heated or cooled. Someone making a reservation in in North Carolina in December would assume that the showers themselves would be warmed by something other than the hot water of the shower.

This campsite was for the most part quite and serene. I will definitely visit again.

We love Cedar Point Camp Ground and go there about four times a year. Good space between most sites. Lots of trees. We would like to see water at each site!!! Adding sewer connections and water would make it perfect. I think most people would be willing to pay more for this luxury too. Great place.

Very relaxing campground. Always clean and well kept. It is close to a race track, shopping, the ocean, and inter-coastal waterway.

Very large campsites and well maintained. A lot of space between sites and a very long, paved driveway. Very nice park with a great nature trail.

This was our first visit to Cedar Point Campground and it was a great experience. We were there for about a week and there was a lot to see around the campground and in other parts of Croatan National Forest. The campground was full or nearly so every night, but everyone was very considerate and respectful. We watched sunsets ever evening and they were all spectacular. Convenient to places to resupply as needed. Campground host was kind, thoughtful and I would have been comfortable to let her know if we needed anything
We will definitely return.

Because of its proximity to the coast, Cedar Point is sometimes impacted by hurricanes and tropical storms and must be closed temporarily. These storms generally occur from July through September. It is always wise to check the weather forecast prior to your arrival, particularly during these months. |
