We have stayed at this campground many times because it is so nice, quiet, and well kept. The hosts that we have had contact with have always been polite and easy to talk to. We love that it is paved and each site is easy to park in. We also love that there is so much to do in the area. This past time we walked the campground and nearby trails, kayaking, shopping, and visited Emeralk Island, Beaufort, Morehead City and Fort Macon. We wanted to visit the lighthouse but it is under reconstruction so we will be back to do that another time.

Nice and spacious campsites. Enjoyed seeing all the wildlife by land and water on the nature trail. Facilities were clean, but could use a larger or better hot water system. Depending on the time of day the showers would run cold. The campground is very quiet which is nice. It does lack a playground, which is a disappointment considering all the space available for one or more.

Nicely groomed, Very quiet and pleasant stay. However a lot of the water fossets were broken. The water pressure was very low in the showers and at the dump station.

This is a great little campground. The grounds are well maintained but the bathrooms are starting to show their age. One of the stall toilets in the men's bathroom wasn't working. There is a lot of wildlife - surprised a deer grazing near our site one morning. The hiking trail down by the river is nice.

The campground is nice, but the bath house is nasty and not clean. Not interested in using the facilities.

The lady who was one of the camp hosts kindly helped me with the electrical hookup. Toilets and showers were clean. The sites are nicely spread out. Nights are quiet. It was my second visit to this campsite. I’ll go back if I can. Thank you for this campsite its close to the beaches. Affordable and that’s a blessing with high inflation and hotels 200 a night !!
