Another great National campground. Pick the higher sites for the sunsets and rises, pick the lower sites for the access to the beach and better wind protection.

Great area for beach activities. Not much in sights to see but the solitude and relaxation can't be beat. If you are a big rig make sure you pick a sight that is angled and has no obstructions on the road, not many! Sites P01, P04, P05, P18, P26, P46 and P50 would be your best bet. Met some great people and would definitely return.

Nice location with beach access. Near clean restrooms. We had to look for a site that was level enough for our van, but found one with no trouble.

The absolute best place in the World! Frisco NPS Campground is our favorite place to stay! We stay here just about every weekend during their open season. (wish they would stay open year round). In my opinion there isn't a bad site in the whole campground. Tent camping or a camper, you're gonna be pleased either way. The staff are great although we didnt see Sandy at all this year and only saw Amy a cpl times. They are the best :) My only advice is bring bug spray because the bugs like Frisco as well but it's definetly not a deterrant to stay somewhere else. Happy Camping and can't wait for our next visit....probably nex weekend;)

Primitive & they charge the same as more developed CGs: No proper RV water fills— just water spiket at shower, no dump, no hot water showers & restrooms smell so didn’t use. Far from beach so access is difficult unless you have a 4x4 to drive on beach.

Nicest beach access campground at the outerbanks. Paved sites, clean bath houses, plenty of space between each site. I like the views. I have been 3 times now in 2 years.

The property was very clean, the other guests were very friendly. The beach was quite the scene to experience.
We will return at a future time. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We did notice not much room for larger campers. We have a 30 ft. 5th wheel and our site #12 worked out fine. Most are for smaller trailers and tents.

Great campground - very private. Nice bathrooms and shower units. Couldn’t ask for much more.

Unfortunately, the sand spurs were everywhere... impossible to avoid. So if you have pets or small children I would skip this campground in the fall. Otherwise, sires are private, beautiful, and quiet. We will be back in the spring.
