Cabin 22 is getting better. Be sure to bring something to cover the windows over the stove so you’re not staring in to cabin 21.
Nice to have the new locks on doors.

The cabins are in the best condition ever. It is obvious that a lot of work has been done to them over the past year. Still very basic but clean and comfortable.

We come here to fish twice per year and pay high prices to use the cabins as our base station. Our biggest concern is that we can’t rely on the hot water control system to work consistently per rental cabin. We love the island and appreciate the opportunity. However, we pay hard earned income and expect the water and stove to work as it is designed.

Cabin was clean but can use some more cabinets and countertops. Also shower head was barely working. Had to remove to wash.

Pretty good weather and a very positive experience for some new folks with us. The fishing is still off but we did catch a few that made it a good trip. Thanks.

While on the island we had a few days of bad weather. Because of the weather the Park Service employees were not able to get to the island from the mainland. The guest and volunteers were on the island without being able to buy ice. Arrangements should have been made to have someone there 24/7 to handle needs of guest to the island. There was plenty of notice that bad weather was coming and that the park service employees were not going to be able to get to their jobs.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
