What Guests Are Saying
Jackrabbit Mountain is a beautiful campground with scenic lake views and well-maintained hiking and biking trails. Many campers appreciate the clean bathrooms and spacious, private campsites, making it a great spot for families and nature enthusiasts. While some facilities could use improvement, such as the bathroom hooks and the absence of firewood for sale, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere.

We stayed at Jackrabbit Campground for 2 nights. Our sight 17A was on the water with a nice view, but not easy access to the water. The site is large and far enough away from other sites. The restrooms had running water but are older so water flow at the sink was low. There are showers but we didn't use them. We'd definitely go back when we're in the area.

Love this campground. Great place to gather with friends. Lake is lovely.
Unfortunately there are always late night “partiers” who wish to make sure the entire campground can hear their every word. Camp host should be enforcing the “quiet after10 PM rule” without me having to get out of my sleeping bag at 11 PM.
Also, the boats that travel too fast in no wake zones should know better.
Wish the shower/bath house in loop B could be in working order. Same condition as last season :{

Great experience. Weather was very cooperative. Campsite was clean. Restrooms were clean. One restroom did have an issue but was repaired soon after. Would be nice if some of the sites were standard electric. Dump station was easily accessed.

I love it there. My only complaint is that many people reserve sites on the water, but then don’t show up and those sites are empty. They are prime sites. Can anything be done?

We had a fantastic long weekend in the B Loop of Jackrabbit Mountain Campground. Great paddleboarding and hiking on the hikers-only trails. The campsites and bathrooms were very well-maintained. Wonderful place.

This is not a true RV site. I repeat, this is not a true RV site!!
Background: a group of friends decide to go camping for a weekend. Most have tents, 2 have a pop-up and travel trailer and 1 has a huge RV.
The 'pup and TT got this site and one next to it. It's literally parking your trailer on the road because the actual site is up some stairs/on a hill. I assume they say it's for small RVs cause you can fit your vehicle in the same space.
Our friends tent site was gorgeous though. Down some stairs, a big open gravel area, next to the lake. Very beautiful. The larger RV spot was nice as well because it was specifically for an RV.
My stars would be higher but we had to literally camp on the road and then got a talking to by the host cause... our kids and dogs were in the road. Come on.
