What Guests Are Saying
Jackrabbit Mountain is a beautiful campground with scenic lake views and well-maintained hiking and biking trails. Many campers appreciate the clean bathrooms and spacious, private campsites, making it a great spot for families and nature enthusiasts. While some facilities could use improvement, such as the bathroom hooks and the absence of firewood for sale, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere.

Site 90 was great. Large camping space - tent pad comfortably fit 2 tents, fire pit/grill combo, 2 large hooks to hang bags and a picnic table. Bathrooms and drinking water were very close from site. There is a path from the campsite down to the lake. Can get noisy with all the boats passing by but it was kinda nice to watch them

If it’s possible to keep the bass boats off the lake before 6am, that’d be great.

Site 72 needs drainage work. We had one good storm and ended up in 6 inches of water that wouldn’t leave the tent pad. We had to dig a drain to get the water away from our tent which was floating in the mess.

The Host was very friendly. The site and the grounds were clean and well kept. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. Enjoyed every minute of my stay. Can't wait to go back.

Had a great time, came up from Florida to look at areas I am interested in buying property, the camp made a good headquarters. Camp host was great had a lot of good information for us even gave up a couple of his favorite fishing spots, sent a guy with fire wood directly to our site with good prices especially for the convenience. Arrived on Wednesday the first week of May it wasn't wasn't very crowded stayed for 4 nights that Saturday the place started to fill in with more campers with families and pets and it started to get a little bit loud but seem to settle down around bed time. Campsites are all nice well maintain nice bathrooms and showers that's always a plus. Thanks to the Jack Rabbit staff , Will definitely be back soon.

Very nice little campground, we enjoyed a couple very peaceful days there. Clean, well maintained with plenty of walking/hiking available and it's right on the water so swimming or canoeing are great options.
