What Guests Are Saying
Jackrabbit Mountain is a beautiful campground with scenic lake views and well-maintained hiking and biking trails. Many campers appreciate the clean bathrooms and spacious, private campsites, making it a great spot for families and nature enthusiasts. While some facilities could use improvement, such as the bathroom hooks and the absence of firewood for sale, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere.

Excellent campground. Clean, well maintained, nice camp areas. Good combination of sites for either RV's or tents. Lake beach swimming area, fishing and hiking trails.

Great place to go and get away even if it’s not that far away, clean bathrooms and showers and very well kept up and friendly

If you are into mountain biking, this is a great place to combine MTB with camping. Camping sites are very good and facilities are kept very clean. No water or electricity at campsites but very nice bathrooms and showers at nearby shower house. Trails from beginners to advanced. Will return asap.

Stay away from site #78 at all cost.
It literally sits 20-25' away from the restrooms and showers which isn't too bad, but the real issue is the restroom and shower doors need maintenance. They slam shut hard unless one purposely hold and close it very slowly, but no one does. It's definitely annoying and can barely sleep with all the door banging noises.

In general site #77 is okay. Decent size and good amount of shade before 2pm.
However, the picnic table could use some repair. Only half of bench is usable, and the other half is rotted.
The restrooms and shower house is right across the road, which is pretty close to the camp site. It could get annoyed hearing the doors slammed all the time especially in early morning and late night.

This place was hands down, one of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed at in our travels. The grounds are pristine, the camp was so peaceful. I can’t wait to go back. Keep up the good work! Much appreciated..

Brought the grandson here for several days of fishing, swimming, and fun! The campground host was great and kept the place clean. All the sites were well maintained and ready to go. It was a bit warm during our stay and I wish all the sites had electricity, but otherwise, we had a blast.
