What Guests Are Saying
Jackrabbit Mountain is a beautiful campground with scenic lake views and well-maintained hiking and biking trails. Many campers appreciate the clean bathrooms and spacious, private campsites, making it a great spot for families and nature enthusiasts. While some facilities could use improvement, such as the bathroom hooks and the absence of firewood for sale, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere.

Quiet, clean, beautiful. The lake is right there to swim. And then the kids can ride bikes around the campground and the mountain bike trails.

Very pretty location, nice sites, clean and spacious. We were expecting to meet the Host Couple, but they came to welcome us or get us registered. We saw the gentleman riding by our site once each evening, waving as he buzzed past. We suppose he was busy elsewhere throughout the day and maybe the only one working all week. The facilities were really nice as was the beach area. We appreciated the efforts made to make Jackrabbit Mountain Rec Area a comfortable vacation location.

The sites are nice with much desired shade in the summer. Bathroom shower and sink pressure in Loop C was not strong.

Had a wonderful time during our stay at Jackrabbit campground. We love how peaceful it is. A great place to do our daily walks. We camp at least 3 times per season at Jackrabbit.

Honestly, we had a lovely time. It was a trade-off to park my little trailer on the asphalt and have to walk down steps to the campsite, but C loop was quiet, and the campsites are not on top of each other like A and B loops. It was also nice to have a short walk to the lake, and to be able to keep our kayaks down by the water. We plan on returning again!

Jackrabbit is always a great trip for us. There is something for everyone from mountain biking to boating and cooling off in the lake. The kids all form groups and gather in the middle to play. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. Each site has its perks. Loop B is definitely our go-to.
