What Guests Are Saying
Jackrabbit Mountain is a beautiful campground with scenic lake views and well-maintained hiking and biking trails. Many campers appreciate the clean bathrooms and spacious, private campsites, making it a great spot for families and nature enthusiasts. While some facilities could use improvement, such as the bathroom hooks and the absence of firewood for sale, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere.

The camp site was better than expected. It was large enough to accommodate out large three room cabin tent and the bathrooms were cleaned daily. Will definitely camp here again.

Beautiful views conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, gas and groceries. Roomy, affordable non-electric campsites. Trails, firepit and relaxing. The loops I stayed in had a freindly camp host. Campfire wood was not available to purchase at the campground loops but is available at local stores so I had to go back out after checking in. There is a flush bathroom/shower house at the campground. I will go back. The only negative thing I can say is the last night of my stay I car camped (slept in my suv), packed up during day light so I could leave early and pack dry equipment. I had a random woman enter my campsite, walked up behind/beside my suv and around to the back to look in (hatch was up) acted startled when she saw me. Then asked if that was my campsite. Didn't identify herself as being park staff or anything else, said "my bad" and walked off. Unnerved me. Fyi: entering someones campsite uninvited is rude. IF she was staff, she should know to announce and identify herself. That one incident wouldn't keep me from giving the campground an exceptional review or keep me from returning. It was a perfect spot to get away for a few days.

Great site! Perfect weather. A peaceful stay. It’s crowded on the weekends, but in September, it was almost empty on Monday!

This was the most gorgeous campsite I've ever stayed at. I highly recommend reserving a site that's right next to the lake.

In my opinion, our camping experience is positive. This is due to Joby the host. He works incredibly hard to maintain the park and make sure everyone enjoys their camping experience. What I don’t understand is why the Park Service doesn’t pay the host for their work. Please explain…
