What Guests Are Saying
Jackrabbit Mountain is a beautiful campground with scenic lake views and well-maintained hiking and biking trails. Many campers appreciate the clean bathrooms and spacious, private campsites, making it a great spot for families and nature enthusiasts. While some facilities could use improvement, such as the bathroom hooks and the absence of firewood for sale, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere.

The location was beautiful and so clean! I was excited that the bathrooms and showers were very clean as well, but take note that none of the bathrooms have hand soap, so make sure to bring your own. The Chatuge Dam walking trail is nearby and is lovely any time of day. We made the 53 minute drive to Tallulah Gorge State Park and it is a must-see! Breathtaking views and both moderately easy and difficult hiking trails.

Great campground and super clean restrooms and showers. Some of the camp spots on the C loop are close together but overall great camp pads, table and fire pit. Would recommend B loop sites 46 and up. Lake is great just seems like October they lower the water level which puts you further away from the water's edge. Will be back for sure.
