What Guests Are Saying
Jackrabbit Mountain is a beautiful campground with scenic lake views and well-maintained hiking and biking trails. Many campers appreciate the clean bathrooms and spacious, private campsites, making it a great spot for families and nature enthusiasts. While some facilities could use improvement, such as the bathroom hooks and the absence of firewood for sale, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere.

The new camp host was great unlike the rude disrespectful one that was there the year before and the beginning of the season. Glad the Recreation Service took the complaints serious and did something. I will be coming back for my 9th year of camping there!

We had such a fantastic time, it was perfect for children and the staff was amazingly helpful when something important was left at the site by accident. months later our kids still talk about their trip to the lake and ask when about when we are going back.

An absolutely beautiful camp! Good hot showers and clean bathrooms. Grass was well kept and lake access from camp pads were clear of debris and overgrowth. Camp manager and other staff were amazing and dealt with any issues in a timely manner without any complaints. Couldn’t ask for a better go to for quick whole family camping. I’ll be back for years to come!!
