What Guests Are Saying
Jackrabbit Mountain is a beautiful campground with scenic lake views and well-maintained hiking and biking trails. Many campers appreciate the clean bathrooms and spacious, private campsites, making it a great spot for families and nature enthusiasts. While some facilities could use improvement, such as the bathroom hooks and the absence of firewood for sale, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere.

Gorgeous view of the lake with a small beach in front of the campsite (072B) with plenty of shade. Extremely close to campsite 71B with direct view of each other. You can see and hear everyone at campsites 005 A, 007A, and 009A so if you’re looking for something quiet and peaceful, this isn’t the spot for you. Beautiful campgrounds though

Jackrabbit is the best. Love being able to bike to the biking trails and being right on the lake too. Have camped here several times and will keep coming back!

Great scenery, good space for tents, big fire pit, nice close y beachfront lake access, plenty bathrooms, and a nearby station for drinking water. Take plenty Fire wood and your own grill

The tent site was well maintained and clean. The common bathroom/shower was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The campground was orderly and there was not a lot of noise at night.

This was our third time at Jackrabbit. We brought our canoe as always but this was the first time I was able to use the mountain bike trails - perfect for beginner families! Restrooms and showers clean as always, thanks hosts!
