Nice shady clean campsite (number 14) . Close to small lake rec area with hiking trails including one to Ranger falls (very nice). Also close to Bridal Veil and Dry falls just off of Hwy 64. Only negative was that the firewood we purchased at the campground was green (hard to get burning). You can avoid this by purchasing firewood in Highlands at the grocery store (cost a bit more but worth it). There is a black bear that claims the campground as part of his territory so don't be surprised by a visit. Keep your food and trash secured. It would be nice if the campsites provided bear proof containers to put stuff in. Thumbs up on this camping area.

We spent 5 nights in site 16 and had a really good time. The grounds are very well kept and the hosts are very nice and helpful. Restrooms and bathhouse were very well kept as well (best campgrounds shower ive ever been in). Had a bit of road noise during midday but quieter evenings. We would recommend!

I would recommend this campground highly. My site was nice and had a small stream just behind it. The campground is a little hard to get to and it’s not suited to larger campers, I have a 16ft off grid camper and it fit just fine.
