We had a great stay at Van Hook Glade Campground in spite of the constant rainfall!

The bathrooms were well maintained and there are hot showers on site. Firewood can be purchased from the host for a decent price.

I definitely recommend hiking in to Ranger Falls, it's an amazing location. Our hike was probably a bit more adventurous than others due to the paths being washed out a bit, leaving mostly mud and roots. Towards the end, the hiking path opens up to a waterfall that's right in front of you, in the middle of the woods. It was an amazing sight.

This was our second time staying in this campground and it did not disappoint! The campground was quiet and the bathrooms were clean. The host was super friendly and helpful! We had a great time hiking to waterfalls and fishing at Cliffside Lake and the surrounding area, vising Kilwins for ice cream, and checking out Highlands Botanical Gardens in town. After 3 nights tent camping with our family of 4 (kids 9 and 6), we did not want to leave and we can't wait to go back!

Campground was peaceful and pleasant. The host was super friendly and had insightful ideas for the kids. Very dog friendly. Campsite 16 was awesome and had plenty of afternoon sun to warm us up in early April.
