Camp staff was awesome. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Even the pour down of rain did not ruin our weekend. Will be back soon!

Beautiful wooded campsites! We booked the double site and it was so perfect for one tent and a canopy, and it’s right across from the restrooms and showers which was a major plus! Restrooms and showers were kept very clean! The river was close by so falling asleep to the sound of it was wonderful! Camp was very quiet and peaceful through the night, which we appreciated! Campground is away from general population but in a very convenient location as the grocery and anything else you needed was just down the road. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and many wonderful hikes and waterfalls! Would definitely stay here again!

We were first time campers. Daddy and daughter (4yrs old) 2 day trip. The site was perfect. It included a fire ring, bear box for food storage and picnic table. We tent camped on the back of our truck bed and brought a canopy for shelter. We had enough trees to set up our hammock and really enjoyed the layout. We brought our bikes, fishing pole and a soccer ball for activities. Also did some playing in the river. Overall everything was clean and well maintained. We were in campsite 6. We chose this as it was very close to the bathrooms next to 5 via the map. Unfortunately, they were more of an outhouse. The "nice" bathrooms with showers are located on the other side of the campsite. By the end of the trip, we had fun getting on our bikes and making an adventure out of going to the bathroom, so the distance worked out anyway. On the next trip we'll bring more firewood as the night was warm enough (May) and was just needed for smores. The mornings is where breakfast by the fire was nice. I'd also bring some coloring books or crafts if you have little ones. It helps with the down time at the camp site. No cell service, for me anyway (att) which I was totally stoked on.
Overall it was an amazing experience. My daughter must have said "I didn't know camping was this much fun" 20 times. We loved our first trip and we're already planning our next.
