The people running the campground were very friendly and recommended some good spots for us to pick given the available space.
Would recommend picking 15 and 11 in order to be close to the water and have some privacy. Overall great experience. Visited in late winter and on a Sunday night, so I can't speak to bugs or crowds for this spot.

Campground is nice, close to the river, if not really walking or driving to anywhere else; a nice place to go be decently remote while still car-camping. Pit/chemical toilets but clean enough. I didn't see running water, I'd bring my own anyway. Campsites are large, kept up, camp host was nice. I went in February, I bet later in the year this is probably very buggy. Overall, exactly what I expected.

Its a great find. Beautiful river view and a great trail to boot ! The host was very nice and friendly. However, the forest road 181 was the worst road i have ever traveled on. Hugh pot holes and soft shoulders is extremely hard on a vehicle. In my stay, my wife got stuck, had to call a tow truck to get her out. There were two more vehicles that got stuck in the mud. Get the road fixed and you would have a pearl at Oyster Point.

Campground and my site was clean and host was helpful. I went there to kayak and fish and had a great trip. It is somewhat primitive but has potable water spigots- bring some buckets and pit toilets. I planned accordingly and all went well. Enjoy.
