The campsites are nicely spaced and private.
The camp's entrance road is the worst I have ever been on in any park or forest, state or national. The terrible potholes in the road are inexcusable.
The host was very nice.
The reservation web page was extremely limited. No camp map and no photos of sites.
The page showed that the only site available for an RV was site 8/10, a double site. I reserved that site because no others were listed as an RV site. Then I could not use my Access pass because I was reserving a double site. I don't understand why the pass cannot be used for a double site.

Oyster Point campground is located in a lovely area, but alas the approach pot holes have turned to craters due to no road maintenance for years, making it lethal for RVs; that aside, we loved the site privacy but did not appreciate the toilet paper and trash left behind by previous campers.

Great cheap place to stay right by bay. Of course litter around some places by trailhead just like most other places. We backpacked the entire trail. Great trail until you get to the aligator road. Unless you like lots of brush and going through large puddles take the road the rest of the way

reserved campsite #9 11/20 - 11/22. it was only 70 steps to the water (i counted them at low tide). there were a few fellow campers asked if they could pass through the campsite to get the to water (no problems). real quiet except for the squirrels gathering acorns....but that nature. there is enough woods between campsites to maintain privacy, but just enough to know there was someone beside you. Camp site Hostess was extremely friendly and helpful when it comes to fishing..... Looking forward to a longer stay next time.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
