Absolutely magical place with birds serenading your morning coffee and fireflies winking you to sleep. Loved it here and will return.

My family thoroughly enjoyed tubing down the river on their floats. We were in an excluded area, which was nice. We had an area that wasn’t extremely excluded, but we still had fun and met some really nice people while we were there and we were close enough to shops to go get some souvenirs and T-shirts. The ladies out front helping us check in and out were awesome. Very helpful. Very convenient to get water and empty your camper when needed.

Five stars almost all the way. Campsites are pretty widely separated, with lots of brush and trees between sites. The pavement could use some maintenance, but it doesn't interfere with your enjoyment of the campground. The bathrooms could seriously use a facelift - everything worked, but it's starting to feel pretty dated and a little sub-standard compared to other USFS campgrounds. Still, it's one of my favorite campgrounds and one I'll return to as often as I can! Love that it's a generator free loop!

Had a great time! Our area has great mix of shade and sunlight, river access, and close to bathroom and water. Tent platform is little low so not great if rains if tent camping as it floods.

Nice campground with adequate space between campsites. Good easy or technical bike riding and same for hiking. Just minutes from Brevard with groceries, restaurants, bars and just about everything you might need. After camping here for over 50 years I’m looking forward to the upgrades coming this winter. Quiets down in the evening for a peaceful nights sleep

Our stay at Davidson River Campground was, as always, wonderful. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Love to see the smiles at the gate after our 6-hour drive to get there! We've been camping here for over 30 years and even though the facilities date farther back from that, they were in good repair and functioning. We're excited to know new bath houses are coming this year, but even though the current ones are very old they were kept remarkably clean and well-stocked by the vigilant staff. Bryan Ellis and his wife do an amazing job of keeping the campground running smoothly and with a smile even though their own RV residence was badly damaged during Helene and is still undergoing repairs. Davidson River is our dream home away from home. Keep up the great work!

RV Site #5 was almost perfectly level - everything worked as it's supposed to. The Campground is neat and picked-up on a daily basis. Easy in and out, and we encountered no problems anywhere in the Park.
