We loved it! Great location. Two ceiling fans & two lights in the cabin. Good set up for a hammock. The bathrooms weren’t the cleanest but we made do just fine. Bring hand soap. The other cabin has the preferred water access. You can walk down a steep hill from the cabin to the water but it’s not feasible for littles. Other campers told us that uninvited people had come late at night so lock up when you go to bed!

The cabin was wonderful; convenient and comfortable. We loved our spot, the view, and the relative quiet the campground offered. The water pressure in the showers is excellent! Lots to see and do in the area if you enjoy nature.

We love it out here. The only thing that would be better, is to fix the showers so the water doesn't come out in the dressing area. Thank you for having this nice camping area for us to enjoy!

While the cabin itself was fine the rest of our first experience at this campground was not so great. There was lots of foot traffic going right by us so there was not much privacy, access to the lake is difficult, and the biggest disappointment was the showers and bathrooms. They were filthy!!! While it looked like someone must have come by daily to clean the floors it looked like they didn't clean anything else. The toilets and sinks stayed dirty and it looks like the walls hadn't been touched in months!
We won't be coming back to this campground for sure.

I loved this place. The only drawback is firewood has to be bought and brought into the camp. This cabin is convenient ( close to bathrooms and parking). Nice to have an electric outlet outside to plug in a griddle ( bring extension cord).
There's a general store going toward Tapoco that has much of what you may not remember to bring. Robbinsville is close enough to go out to eat if you don't want to cook.
Joyce Kilmer and Cherohala Skyway are a must see and you can easily make a day trip to Lake Fontana dam and plenty of hiking.

Great cabin. Was a little hard to find at first but would absolutely stay here again. Cabin was clean and in good shape and the campsite offers easy access to the lake and bathrooms.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. Close to the bathrooms and clean. It even had a porch if it rained. The beds are just wooden platforms, so you need to bring pads of some sort. The one surprise was there are electric boxes outside so it didn't matter that there was no electric outlets in the cabin. We are use to camping in a tent, so this was a nice luxury. Can't beat the price.
