What Guests Are Saying

Cheoah Point Cabin 2 offers a wonderful experience with clean, well-maintained accommodations right on the water, providing plenty of space and privacy. Guests appreciate the use of amenities like the grill and fire pit. However, access to the lake for swimming is challenging due to erosion and the absence of stairs, and cell service can be spotty, requiring a short walk for better reception.

Great time but difficult to get into the lake to swim due to the erosion. There used to be to be some stairs but they no longer exist.
Otherwise it was a fabulous experience.

We loved the cabin. It is right on the water, with lots of space and privacy. The cabin was clean and well maintained, we used the grill and fire pit, and the bathrooms were nearby and in good working condition. You can walk down to the water from a nearby path or go further to the "beach". The outside power source allowed us to charge phones. Cell service is spotty, so you can't count on being able to make and receive calls, but if you walk about ten or fifteen minutes away, outside of the campground, it is much better. We hope to come back soon!

2nd stay here. Such a fantastic place to stay. Clean, basic cabin. *Clean restrooms and showers. The view of the lake and proximity to it cannot be beat! One note: One of the restrooms needed a bit of a toilet scrub/cleaning after someone... did #2. The toilet did not get cleaned until 3-4 days later... The rest of the restroom was fine.

Can't wait to return here!
