Our favorite place to camp! Private, peaceful, clean. 1 bar of LTE service (Verizon), but no data. I was able to inconsistently send/receive SMS messages but no iMessages and no RCS.

From Robbinsville, North Carolina, continue on Highway 129 north for approximately 6 miles. Turn left on SR # 1145 - Thunderbird Mountain Road. Continue approximately 1.3 miles on Thunderbird Mountain Road to the Cheoah Point Campground. The cabin is located in the Cheoah Point Campground.
The campground is accessible via Highway 129, which connects to Robbinsville and leads north toward the area. There are no nearby interstates or major highways within 25 miles.
