My partner and I really enjoyed this campground and found this site to be just what we wanted! Close to the waters edge with a short stroll through the woods and close enough to the bathroom and trash station.

We stayed on the lower loop of Badin Lake Campground. The area is really nice and peaceful. It was during the week so there were barely any people there. However, the second night someone showed up at the site next to us at 8:30 PM and proceeded to run a generator until 2am. My understanding was that no generators were allowed at the campground. Needless to say it ruined the rest of the stay so we decided to leave early. The camp host did nothing about it.

We stayed on the lower loop of Badin Lake Campground. The area is really nice and peaceful. It was during the week so there were barely any people there. From Troy, North Carolina, take State Highway 109 north for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto Mullinix Road (County Highway 1154), and travel approximately 1.5 miles to a stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, and go approximately 2 miles to another stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, then make a quick left and travel about 1 mile to the campground.
Badin Lake Campground is accessible via State Highway 109, which is located approximately 10 miles south of the campground in Troy, NC.

Safety & rules
- Prescribed burns may occur throughout the year, potentially causing smoky conditions.
- Respect fellow campers by keeping off-highway vehicles on designated roads and trails, and control children and pets in the campground.
Fees & deposits
- Single site rates are $20/night and $10/night with Access or Senior Access Pass; double site rates are $40/night with no discounts available.
Site types & loops
- Campsites 17 and 19 are first-come, first-served with no hookups; alcohol and fireworks are prohibited.

- Off-highway vehicles are allowed on designated trails from April 1 to December 15, with required trail passes and trailering for unlicensed vehicles.
