Loved this remote location and easy access to historic sites. Saw an elk cow give birth, the calf's first steps, an incredible moment! Site 6 was large with a sense of privacy and quiet. The road in is an adventure, especially in a 24 foot RV. Blind curves - Oh My! But go slow and all is good. Good birding also. We stayed at Cades Cove and Smokemont Campgrounds as well and this was our favorite. Happy Trails!

Beautiful valley and such a wonderful escape from all of the much more crowded recreational areas. Campground is clean and quiet with spacious campsites. A lot of poison ivy around the trees, but easily avoidable.
