Heaven In The Hills Campground

We had such a great experience at Heaven in the Hills Campground! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, and well cared for. The sites are spacious and clean, with beautiful natural surroundings that really let you relax and unplug.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had what we needed without being intrusive. The amenities were well maintained, and it’s clear the owners take pride in keeping the campground in excellent condition.

One of our favorite parts was how peaceful it was, the small creek and hiking trails that surround the area.

We’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing camping getaway!

This campground is appropriately named, it definitely feels like Heaven in the Hills when you are there!

The owners have made this a wonderful place to spend time with your family and nature. It truly shows how much they care about the campground and their guests!

We enjoyed our stay here with our 2 pups, they loved the dogpark and the trails winding around the park and along the creek.

You don't need to leave the campground to enjoy a peaceful hike, but there are plenty of options nearby for those that are serious hikers.

The cutest campground!!! Very welcoming. Sites are great size and level. Very well kept and clean. Owners are very nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to all and we will be back!

Our stay at Heaven in the Hills RV Campground was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Nestled in the beautiful North Carolina mountains near a bubbling creek, this campground is the perfect mix of relaxation, nature, and hospitality. It’s only a few miles from Hanging Rock State Park, which made it an ideal home base for exploring the area’s incredible scenery and hiking. My husband and I especially enjoyed close proximity to the mountain bike trails at the state park.

One of the things we appreciated most was the attention to detail throughout the campground. Every site has full hookups, which made our stay easy and comfortable, and the entire property is thoughtfully designed to help guests feel welcome and at home. Most of the sites are surrounded by trees and have some shade, which we loved. We also appreciated the free and super-fast WiFi which was available throughout the campground. We were actually able to stream movies on the TV inside our camper which is something we usually can't do.

The atmosphere there was genuinely warm and inviting. The owners personally greeted us when we checked in, and that level of hospitality continued throughout our stay. It felt less like staying at a campground and more like visiting friends who truly care about their guests’ experience. Even though the campground is still fairly new and small, you can already see the vision the owners have for it, and their plans for expansion are exciting.

Another highlight was the beautiful hiking trails right on the property. Being able to walk directly from our campsite into the woods and enjoy the mountain scenery and creek was such a special touch.

We can’t wait to come back and watch this special place grow! In fact, we've already booked our next stay and we're excited to return in October!

Absolutely fantastic campground! The campsites are level, spacious, and impeccably maintained. The full hookups worked perfectly, making our stay completely hassle-free. We especially loved having the creek right next to our site—it was so peaceful and relaxing, even with the water being low from the drought.

This campground is a hidden gem that's well worth getting off the beaten path to visit. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, this is the place. The owners and camp host were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
