Nice level campsites. We were in the shady area which we prefer. Campsites in the A loop were spaced out well or you could choose ones that were closer for a group. Bathrooms were adequate. We were told they run out of hot water quickly but we didn’t experience that.
Camp host was friendly. Sites were clean and well maintained. The campground is fairly close to town if you need anything. We plan to return.

Beautiful campground with lots of birds singing in the morning. Swim beach small but very nice and clean. Full basketball court was fun and office had a ball to loan us. Out in the country but all sorts of shopping is available.

From Winston-Salem, North Carolina, take Highway 421 North (approximately 55 miles) to Exit 286B, turn left onto Highway 268 and continue for approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto Jess Walsh Road. Campground entrance is located at the end of the road.
From Charlotte, North Carolina, take I-77 North (approximately 60 miles) before merging onto Highway 421 North towards Wilkesboro/Boone. Continue to Exit 286B (approximately 20 miles), turn left onto Highway 268 and continue for approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto Jess Walsh Road. Campground entrance is located at the end of the road.

The campground is accessible via Highway 421, which is approximately 5 miles from Highway 268, and I-77 is also within reach, merging onto Highway 421 toward Wilkesboro/Boone.
