The sites are decent however need some maintenance. The landscaping timbers were rotting and some were missing. The bath house was disgusting! There were literally dozens and dozens of stink bugs and several cock roaches, They really need to clean that up. Several bad potholes on the roads inside the camping area.

Nice facilities, but the people next to us were rude and loud. I couldn’t find a number to call to get security. He was yelling at another person who kindly asked him to turn off his music and stop yelling. I was a bit nervous and didn’t feel safe with my daughter. We left early the next morning.

Nice clean sites that were flat and well maintained. We appreciated the lantern hooks and extra table for cooking supplies.
Bath house has been updated. Really nice to have so many hooks at the showers to hang towels, clothes and toiletries. A small bench to place a bag on or sit on outside the shower was another thoughtful touch.
One of the toilets may have a small leak. I noticed a little water on the floor in the grout areas.
Bathhouse has soap and paper towels which is a plus to not have to carry your own every time you use the facilities. Kept clean and well stocked.
The man at the front gate was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely return. Bandits Roost is a bit closer to town, but I think we prefer this campground.

We love Fort Hamby and have gone there many times. This place is well kept and clean, the staff is always friendly and extremely hellpful. One thing thing that is sorely needed is a curtain between the restrooms and the showers. If you are using the showers you have absolutely no privacy between yourself and anyone who walks into the restroom. Additionally you are totally exposed when anyone opens the outside door and you are standing there in all your glory.
