Park is nice but the roads in the park are narrow and steep. If you have back or knee issues or be aware it is a chore to walk roads or paths because of the topo .

It is always a great place to stay. We have always been able to stay there and enjoy a quite restful time. Would recommend it to folks that want to get away for a great place to rest and enjoy a bit of the nature God has given us. Thanks to the workers that keep it clean and quite.

We enjoyed our stay at the park. Everyone was so nice. Although the time of year we arrived the water was still to cold for us to partake in water activities the availability of being able to launch our kayaks and the swiming beach was nice.

This is an awesome campground! I don't think there is a bad site and the trail to the waterfall was great. No sewer hookups but the dump station was just fine. We will definitely be coming back here as soon as we can!

This park is a real gem in respect to it's location and amenities. The campground is designed in a thoughtful way, allowing for just enough privacy at each site. The facilities were in good order, and being near the lake adds to the ambiance. Try the disc golf course for a pleasant walk in the woods. Although all of the camp sites are relatively level, some of the access to those sites are on significant slopes which may pose challenges when backing in with longer rigs. One suggestion would be for the ranger station to offer some type of decal representing the park, as many travelers like to have a keepsake of their adventures. Visit Fort Hamby Park for a relaxing get-a-way out of the city and back to nature.

Beautiful wooded area. Only here for one night. Site #10 or 11 (I can't remember...it was not the handicap site). Bathhouse was clean and nice. The pad we were on was mostly level:) The driveway was long and on an incline. LOVED the little bench on two sides of the campfire area...that was a nice touch. Hilly campground so didn't ride bikes. Quiet and serene. October 2020, Class B Camper Van
