We were very happy with this site! It had a beautiful view of the water and felt pretty private as far as campgrounds go. There is a vault toilet almost right next to the site, which was very convenient and not as gross as I thought it would be, and the entrance to the Bushwhacker Falls Trail was very close as well. The bathrooms/showers are closer to site 8, so it was a little bit of an uphill walk, but definitely doable.

Fort Hamby has the nicest Rangers and Attendants. The Sites are well taken care of and the facilities are always clean and looking like new! I make it my first stop on any North Bound Camping trip just to make sure it all starts out great !!
