We spent four nights at Cottonwood after Labor Day. It was very peaceful and so quiet, even though the campground was near capacity every night. We loved our stay and our back-in site was #45 and very private and spacious. Highly recommend!

Quiet with very nice clean bathrooms. Be careful when reserving your spot because the loop is one way and your door may open on the street side. The website says this but I ignored and regretted. Plenty of space between campsites.

Campsite 065 doesn't have a flat spot for a tent; it's several mounds and a dip that would collect water. The one-man tent put up by the camper after us couldn't even sit flat. Also, a few of the tent sites are so crowded next to each other (065 and some of the ones right around it) there isn't safe room between the tents and fire rings to actually have a fire burning. It's also far from the bathroom (which can be good and bad). Overall campground pros: The campground has other spots that looked more spacious and flat. Bison walked around the campground too, which was fun to see.
