spacious, relatively clean restrooms. good shower facilities.

Fantastic camping in the early week, but the mousquitoes were horrendous! Other than that, the water was fantastic, freezing cold, but clear as crystal! And the sites were nice and clear and had awesome amenities!

We loved this CG. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star was the mosquitos were so bad the first 3 days (until they sprayed) that you couldn’t stay outside. The camp attendant was great and kept us informed on why there was a delay in spraying. Partially due to weather. This is a beautiful place to stay.

So many mosquitoes, signage said they were going to spray, but that didn't happen. Then we chose a weekend on which one day it poured rain. We still had a nice time.

Bring a lot of bug spray.

We were lucky to find some primitive camping there as we prefer occasionally. Didn't even think about ticks (but should have being in N Dakota). Knew to stay out of woods, after 1in our party and her dog walked the nature trail there. Evidently, mid June is prime tick season. But, they were extremely prevalent all around us and in trees to drop down upon us. A simple posting to beware would have been helpful. Some out-of-staters don't think of tick infestations 1st thing. But my biggest reason for doing the survey is to request that gov. and state campgrounds get their website act together. We and many more campers coming in for the eve. had huge trouble trying to register. Site crashed; ph. # not available at hour we all needed or thru weekend (when we all want to camp); seems after 4:00 if you're not registered by then, you can't select that day's availability or register, for those who just ended their long journey from out of state. This took hours. The campground hosts were very helpful in trying to use their phones and computer to help. They had no one to call either and are no longer set up to accept payment. I know we have a virus. But, this is after Memorial weekend and Rec.gov is not prepared to handle varying circumstances that occur for people, and State Parks are not much better. Please, bring back the ways we had when camping was relaxing and unfettered and I didn't feel like I had to spend my day on a phone, probably without service, to be able to find a campground before 4:00. NOT done yet~Don't know how other campers fared, but website finally settled down and we paid you. Turned out, we had a family issue and had to cancel our last night. Tried so many times to cancel on your site. As we had Golden passes, our costs were minimal, so we just forewent a refund; but, that meant incoming campers would not have been able to see the availability. We did inform the host. Just for this survey, the site didn't like my sign in info 4 times before it worked!

The best campground in ND. Always well groomed and clean. You even sprayed for mosquitos.

Love camping here. Easy to back into all spots. Biking, hiking, fishing and pet friendly. Wish the stocked pond would give up some fish!

Campground was very clean, freshly mowed, and bathrooms were super clean. Will continue to come here multiple times a year!
