Downstream is my happy place. It’s the best campground we’ve been to. Most of the spots are private and spacious. We love it!

There is a lot to do at this camping area. You can go fishing ,have camp fires,go for walks, and biking around the area.See the deer there and just visit with the people there.

Very nice campground and well maintained. Would give it 5 stars but for the weird AC power. My induction plate started buzzing loudly. Switch to internal power and it is quiet as usual. Measured the shore power AC wave form with oscilloscope and saw high and low voltage surges, plus a strange ringing waveform riding on the 60 hertz sine wave. Seemed to be around 1khz same as the induction plate buzzing sound. Clocks run fast. Likely due to the timers counting the sine wave zero crossing point to count seconds. Add the ringing and you get more zero crossings. Gain ~2.5 hours in 10 hours. Coffee pots didn’t come on as usual. My isolation transformer smoothed out the high / low peaks to ~135 RMS Volts. But still get the ringing ripple.

I did not stay over at the campsite. There was a fire ban for the entire area and I chose to cancel my camping plans. The campsite appeared to be fine.

Everything was good. I was highly agitated by the amount of light that is in the campground at night from the Parks fixtures. Particularly those on the restrooms. As an amateur photographer I like to take pictures and time lapses at night. This Campground could use to update to dark sky policies.
