We were some of the first campers after the storm recovery. The campsite was still messy with downed branches and twigs but it was an easy clean-up. The waterfront was enjoyed by everyone. The first 3 days of our stay was very enjoyable but the last night was ruined by a group of after midnight arrivers who were disrespectful of their neighbors......very noisy and boisterous. I'm not sure they slept at all because they were loud again before 6 AM. I guess I don't know how the campground's quiet hours are supposed to be enforced but it sure would have been nice if the ccampground host or park ranger would have carried that out.
The restroom facilities were kept up as best as possible considering some liquid handsoap vandalism all over the floor and a man leaving fish scales and slime in the sink basin which completely plugged the drain. All in the day of a typical public area, I guess!
We would definitely recommend this campground.....but have learned it is not ideal to do tent camping on a 4th of July weekend if your goal is peace and quiet!

The power keeps tripping the breaker on camp site 17 thru 26 on the hottest days. Had to go and get my generator to keep AC running not real happy as this has happened before . Have camped there for many years and get the same results its like they don't care as they keep giving excuses and nothing gets fixed may just have to find a different place to camp in the future.

The campsite was very roomy, however the fire pit was filled with water when we go there and all the grassy surfaces slope downhill, so there is really no good place to put a tent. No cell service, but does have a Hot Spot. That is not a huge deal. Overall was very nice,

The 'no alcohol' rule was not enforced and loud parties persisted all night during my visit.

First time camping here. The host was very friendly and helpful. Perfect spot for camping with some shade. Everyone (other campers) were super friendly there. Definitely on our list to camp at again.

Stayed during the week so it wasn’t crowded. Very nice campground with very friendly hosts. Very peaceful and quiet. Well cared for. Clean restrooms and showers. WiFi signal was pretty weak. We will be coming back.
