No gravel in the site, it was pure mud. Site is extremely unlevel. It would be such a beautiful spot too!!

We were the only one in the campground, but even so it is very nice and clean.

It was fantastic. The camp care chasers are wonderful. We had some pretty bad wins and range one night, but the camp caretakers told us right away and we took shelter in the bathroom for a little bit or no bugs and the campground was so clean.

We enjoyed setting up our tent close to Lake Ashtabula. Camp hosts were hospitable. Bathrooms and showers were clean and a treat as we spent an enjoyable 6 days in mid September.
We used Ashtabula East Crossing as a basecamp for exploring the gorgeous Shyenne Valley and NE North Dakota.
It was memorable to visit Standing Rock, a site for ceremonials and offerings of the Dakota Indians.

Great time. Bathrooms need to be improved, showers do not always work or have poor water flow. Garbage should be picked up more during holiday weekends/weeks. The dump station was not available during our stay as needed.
