We had a wonderful time. It was off season so the campground wasn't full which gave us some privacy. The host was very helpful when we arrived. There are lots trails for every level of hiker. Will definitely be going back. Just be sure to take what you need. Kinda a ways to a store.

Arrowhead never disappoints. The restroom and shower facilities are always well maintained and incredibly clean, and the camp host is always so happy to have you visit. I’ve been camping at this place for 20+ years, and it will always hold a very sweet spot in my heart.

Arrowhead Campground is a great spot for camping! This time we had a camper, but camper, tent, hammock, doesn't matter...Arrowhead is great! The host is very kind and helpful, the bathhouse is clean and well maintained, and the sites are very good. Great for offroaders using the OHV trails, boaters/fishing at Badin Lake, or just getting lost in the woods for a while.

uwharrie is one of my favorite places and since i bought a camper Arrowhead is also one of my favorite campgrounds. I travel up there from Charleston SC with the group SC Jeepers and it is always the best time.

Love this campground. It rained all weekend but it was fun. The neighbors were a bit loud after midnight but it was a great time.
