The campground site and bath facilities were clean and maintained. Have stayed here several times in a tent while riding the OHV trails in our Jeep. Will stay here again

Very pretty campground and most campsites were shaded under the large canopy of trees. Although the campground is electric only, they made it very easy to dump and fill up potable water if needed. The dump station and potable water fill up station were separate and very clean. Because of the natural landscape most of the sites are not level, so bring some leveling equipment if you are in an RV. There was so much to do in Uwharrie National Forest such as walking and hiking trails, off road/ATV trails, mountain bike trails, horse trails, as well as kayaking, boating, or fishing on Badin Lake. We visited the Welcome Center in Troy and they were very helpful with giving recommendations on hikes in the Uwharrie Forest to see waterfalls as well as good places to eat in town.

Nice area but campsites are unlevel. Nice spacious bath house, seemed fairly clean, but no hand soap at all.
