Camping on the no electric tent side is usually nice but a trailer moved right in the middle of the park with the biggest loudest generator and made everyone’s nights miserable

Best camp site in the state. Sites, toilets, showers and grounds are clean and well cared for. Great camp host.

I love Blue creek. Have been going there for almost 20 yrs. The dump station was closed. That’s almost a deal breaker. I also noticed quite a few dogs off leash. Leash law didn’t seem to be being enforced. Is the gate never open anymore? Such a shame to see things going downhill.

We really enjoy this park, but it needs maintenance. Out of four showers, only one is working, and some have been out of service for an extended period. Additionally, the new dumping station remains closed, making longer stays difficult without proper facilities. Investing in repairs and improvements would greatly enhance the campground’s potential."

Overall amazing stay! Camp-host, Matthew, was super kind and did an excellent job with grounds upkeep! My kiddo also thought he was absolutely amazing. We ended up having an emergency and the rangers and camp-host made sure we had a safe place to stay for the duration of getting everything situated. When a tornado came through the area the camp-host went above and beyond to notify everyone as quickly as possible to get to shelter, so grateful. (Tornado luckily missed the campground) Met some awesome people, saw fireflies, went boating and fishing, lots of bird watching (especially the red cardinals), and enjoyed some beautiful sunsets.

First, the weather was awesome for our stay. Blue creek has amazing views of the lake. The view at sunset is outstanding.
