What Guests Are Saying
Washington Cove is a well-maintained campground with friendly staff and clean facilities, making it a favorite for many campers. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views, and good access to the lake for activities like kayaking and fishing. However, some concerns include low water pressure, the need for longer hoses, and issues with large rocks in certain camping spots that pose a trip hazard.

Not enough water connections and too far from the pads. If you don’t have a splitter or your neighbor doesn’t, only one of you can use the water at a time

The campsite was spotless. I love Washington Cove and enjoy birdwatching. There are numerous birds on the migration path now. I went there mainly to watch the pelicans.
So sorry you'll be closing at the end of October and I'm really looking forward to spring.

Beautiful and clean. Be prepared to wait a long time to use dump station on a Sunday.

we loved where we were camping. we could see the lake and had enough room between the two campsites for the little ones to run, and the bathrooms were just a walk away.

This park is beautiful and well maintained, and we will be returning as often as possible! Bathrooms have a very good setup with benches inside individual stalls. Awesome place!

Our campsite was fairly easy to back into, large area for relaxing and sitting by the campfire.

Extremely well kept area thanks to park volunteers. The gatekeepers were friendly and available when needed. Definitely will return .
I wish the park did not close the campgrounds so early in the fall. That is the best time for camping in Oklahoma.
