What Guests Are Saying
Washington Cove is a well-maintained campground with friendly staff and clean facilities, making it a favorite for many campers. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views, and good access to the lake for activities like kayaking and fishing. However, some concerns include low water pressure, the need for longer hoses, and issues with large rocks in certain camping spots that pose a trip hazard.

Very nice staff who was extremely helpful when she noticed I had no idea what I was doing! Nice hookups and beautiful views, clean bathrooms (although showers would have been nice). Overall a good experience I would encourage friends to do.

I had a great time relaxing and sewing at the lake. The campsite was very clean.
I enjoyed seeing all the species of birds returning to the lake.
The lake is low now but it' s beginning to rise with the recent rains.
I'm looking forward to a summer of camping fun!

People friendly volunteers and park rangers, nice clean park and facilities. Only complaint would be the showers in the restroom require you to push a button frequently to take a shower.

The park was super clean. We will camp there again. However, it would be nice if there was some 50 amp sites.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. The campground was patrolled regularly and all staff were friendly.
My only complaint was mowing both days we were there. The drought has made it unnecessary to mow and dust from the equipment made us go inside our campers. I look forward to sitting outside to enjoy the sounds of nature but we could not because of the mowers. Maybe the workers could be assigned other duties when it is so dry.

Nice level concrete pad and beautiful view of the lake. Only problem you will need about 75β to 100β of hose to get on a shared water faucet.
