Copan, Washington Cove is my favorite place to camp. The Park Rangers are super friendly and I feel very safe here.

I realize the end of season but the rocks are to big in some camper pads especially for elderly. Rolled my ankle on big rocks and twigs in camp spot 68 need to be crushed. The camp host were there before and came back this year at Washington cove the best people that ever were camp host.

My stay was good. Bathrooms were clean and supplied with toilet paper. My campsite was comfortable and peaceful. The Rangers drove through regularly and are so friendly.
The Cove is always my choice for camping.

Clean-up and maintenance at this campsite is starting to drop a little. However, we were able to get maintenance completed on a leaky water valve that needed repair. The maintenance person was quite cordial in his work and we are thankful for his service This campsite has always been maintained sufficiently over the years we have used it. I hope that maintenance does not drop off reducing the quality of this campsite.

site 77 is very long and pretty level. Water hook ups were pretty close and there is a good amount of shade. Area was clean and the view was great.

The pavilion/shelter was very clean, very well taken care of. We were having trouble with the electric not working but the park rangers stopped and graciously helped figure out the problem, only taking a few minutes to come up with the issue. Would definitely recommend to use and we will use again in the future.
