What Guests Are Saying
Washington Cove is a well-maintained campground with friendly staff and clean facilities, making it a favorite for many campers. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views, and good access to the lake for activities like kayaking and fishing. However, some concerns include low water pressure, the need for longer hoses, and issues with large rocks in certain camping spots that pose a trip hazard.

Had a great time. Everything is clean. No problems and quiet. Hope we get some rain to get our lake up to normal again.

We had a great 6 day stay! The restrooms and campground were very clean. The office was able to help us switch sites when the water source on the first site was too far for our hose to reach. Very accommodating.

We love to camp here based in location and ability to take walks along a paved path.

We stayed in space 94. We were worried being so close to the showers and restrooms but quickly stopped worrying. The foot traffic was very minimal and the restrooms were maintained very well.

Very nice park and quiet during the week. It has vastly improved since our first visit in 1991 and we always are planning our future stays.
Water pressure was very low this time even with a nearly empty campground.
Camp host was nice.
What bothers us is the fact people are dumping their charcoal ashes, cigarette butts, fish guts, etc… in the camp sites. And there is very little being done to discourage or penalize these offenders. There could be a policy set up that prohibits people from reserving future sites once they have trashed a site, this would require camp host to inspect sites once people checked out. .

Very clean showers and well maintained grounds. Wish it would rain so lake will fill back up.
