We have stayed at Petit Bay several times but not anymore, last year the mowing crew came thru the sites mowing as fast as they could go, and they hit a rock with the mower which was ejected from the mower and hit my wife in the leg. We just stayed on April 1st at a site that is supposed to have full hook ups ada accessible, and advertised as ready to go April 1st. We got there and the sewer is locked, was told by office they would send someone out, they never did. Now on website it says sewer hook up out of order to little to late. we left early and would recommend that if you go to petit don’t go until they have someone at gate you can talk to

Need more 50 amp sites, dump station too far away. Full service sites do not have sewer. Overall a good experience. Will come back!

On park side A not all campsites have their own water hook up. Plan to bring over 100+ foot of water hose to some sites. Picnic table are far away from trailer sites and most sites are not on level ground. Parks are in poor shape and need to be replaced.

The site had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Fire pit, grill had refuse, the site needed to be mowed. The Bathrooms were nasty. We were almost afraid for our grandchildren to use the bathrooms due to lack of privacy and the lack of cleanliness.

The campsite is old and for the most part decent. The water faucets are shared and ours was about 200 ft away. Had to run down and buy another hose, would have been nice to know ahead of time. The grass was extremely tall and took away from our enjoyment. Not fun to be walking around on your weekend away in tall grass getting chigger bites.

Poor upkeep of the facility and grounds.
Shelter 1 was dirty. Had to use a water hose and nozzle to rinse the cement debris off the tables and cement. Grass was very tall. Play around was
Rundown as well
