When we arrived on 5/28 and plugged in we had to keep jiggling the plug to get power. Finally got it so we thought & continued to set up. It was getting dark, went in & turned on the lights & they were dim. Then the frig went off. Tried jiggling the plug again & could not get it to work. Bad receptacle. Told attendants. They couldn't get anyone out there till next day. We had to load up food and drive home. Basically we were jipped out of a nights stay due to no power.

We stayed here 7 nights and loved every minute of it. We had site 4 and it was a beautiful view of the lake! The swim beach was great. I even got my kayak in the water and kayaked around on the marina side. Bathroom where clean and my grandkids loved the playground. Only complaint is the campsites where not mowed!

Some of the bathroom stools don't flush well causing them to plug up and won't flush.
Need to have new electric installed to accommodate 50 amp plugs.

it was cool and wet this trip... grass all green and wildlife active... Our kitchen water faucet started leaking and there was a person in the area that got it fixed for us pretty quickly... All in all it was a very good stay with the exception of the weather. However, I would say that being at Strayhorn in a raging thunderstorm is much better than home... the excitement is awesome and if needed there is a stable building to go to.

Wonderful camp hosts! Clean well keep park with many things to do if you don’t want to fish every day. We loved eating at The Bird & Bison located at Keys which is only a 30 minute drive from the Park.
