I feel a couple of things should be mentioned to future campers - in paved roads leading into the park & 50’ water hose is needed. Recents rains left large washed out/holes in the unpaved road.

I very much like the size of the lake and the campsites are placed well. I am continuously frustrated with the bathroom and shower facilities. In the large bathhouse, there is only one working stall in the women's. Toilet paper is not always available and the showers are not always hot or even warm. The other bathrooms can have standing water and too dirty to use. The plumbing issues are sometimes so bad the smell makes the entire experience not worth coming back. Often I think the sewage issue is unsafe, especially for the kids playing on the playground near that large bathhouse. For these reasons I am hesitant to schedule a camp site because I never know what the conditions will be.

Very clean & well maintained park. Some campsites could use some railroad ties replaced to help stabilize & reduce erosion. Nice beach for swimming with showers to rinse off lake water and silt. Floating fishing dock & boat ramp next to beach area. Most campsites are shaded. My recent visit was my first ever and I will likely visit again in the near future.

We were there for 7 days with a group of 12 campers. Rented the large pavilion and we all had a great time.
The restrooms could use some attention, there was only 1 working stool in the ladies side the whole time we were there. Some ceiling tiles are falling and we did run out of tissue one day. Didn’t use the showers so can’t comment on those.
